Welcome to Koala Rescue Club! Koalas are an endangered species so it’s our job to protect them. In this family-friendly roll and write game, you will plant new trees for koalas to live in and then rehome them safely.
Each turn, a die roll determines which configuration of trees or koalas you can draw. Fill in areas to score points, and complete rows and columns to claim special bonus actions.

Requires 1 game sheet per player, one standard six-sided dice and a pen or pencil to write with.

HOW TO PLAY
1.
One player rolls the die and the result shows the shape that all players will use this turn. The shape can be rotated or flipped but it must always fit within the area you're drawing in. In later turns you'll be able to rehome koalas but to start with you'll need to plant some trees.
PLAYTHROUGH
Phil Walker-Harding has been designing approachable board and card games for fifteen years and is best known for Sushi Go!, Imhotep and Bärenpark. He has worked with international brands like Ravensburger, Bluey and Tetris.
Meredith Walker-Harding is an illustrator and textile artist who has also worked in academic administration, book sales, puppetry and vegan catering.
